U-Haul’s Digital Marketing & Web Analysis Department is looking to add a new Intern to help with the creation and execution of our digital marketing efforts. This is an excellent opportunity, within a dynamic department, for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and will provide valuable real-world experiences for your resume. Experience in Digital Marketing, Content Writing for the Web, Email, or Analytics is a plus, but is not required for consideration.

What You’ll Learn:

You will receive hands on training in multiple areas of online marketing, including:
• E-Mail Marketing – Creating email campaigns, designing emails, creating tracking links, analyzing email results
• Copy/Content Writing – Assist Digital Marketing Specialists in creating new content to be used on and other uhaul owned sites
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – keyword research, track keyword rankings, assist in developing new SEO strategies
• Conversion Rate Optimization – identify problem areas on the web using data analytics and use creative problem solving to fix the problem
• A/B Testing – tracking and analyzing relevant KPIs
• Data Analytics – learn how to identify problem areas, trends, and be able to make marketing decisions based off of data
• MUST be a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program
• MUST be able to work 20+ hours a week
• GPA 3.0 or greater
• Writing examples are a huge plus!

Qualities of an Ideal Candidate:

• Writing and/or Analytics experience
• Passionate about learning and testing what you’ve learned
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• Organized individual with an attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to take Initiative and come up with ideas on your own
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
