Description:
    U-Haul International, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and organized Financial Analyst to join its Operations Department. Under the direction of the designated supervisor, the Financial Analyst will prepare thorough and objective reports, forecasts and recommendations for the use by management in the decision making process.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ability to perform complex payment analysis within a changing environment
  • Tracking, forecasting, analyzing and preparing marketing, financial and statistical evaluations
  • Preparing graphs and visual aids to management with essential data from which sound business decisions can be made
  • Make suggestions to improve company processes and reduce inefficiencies
  • Responsible for establishing efficient diligence processes and reconciling information to ensure accurate end results for reporting of management and financial information
Requirements:
  • Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to take quantitative data and present it in an easy-to-understand format
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must possess an aptitude for working in a computerized environment
  • Must have a detail oriented approach and strong decision making skills
  • Must be articulate and familiar with financial terminology
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, as well as multitasking abilities to identify and prioritize information
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education/Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or 2-3 years experience working with financial information
  • 1 – 2 years of business and finance related experience
