We are currently looking to hire a Systems Administrator with Enterprise Monitoring experience. This is an important position within our IT operations department. The position requires an individual with an overall knowledge of IT logical, technical, and monitoring architecture principles, as well as solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates will….
  • Design, develop, implement and support the monitoring systems for Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Engage with platform and application ownership groups to determine appropriate monitoring
  • Assist in capacity planning for network and server infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day administration of tools and ensure the availability, performance, and security of the overall monitoring platform
  • Research new technologies and products related to end-to-end application and infrastructure monitoring for engineering new monitoring solutions
  • Contribute as a SME on incident research and resolution when appropriate
  • Work on all systems and/or projects within the organization responsible for providing Cyber Security
  • Threat detection utilizing network and host based Computer Security tools, appliances and end point products
  • Perform packet analysis by identifying malformed packets and the payload of the packet Integrate security products, including designs for all organizational networks
  • Maintain system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring "policies" in a manner determined by the program management
  • Provide documentation and interaction with other analysts and personnel to ensure a complete and functioning system that meets requirements
  • Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with IT resources and business line
  • Ability to consume requirements and produce effective monitoring to meet said requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Understanding of common network services (DNS, web, mail, FTP, etc.), network vulnerabilities, and network attack patterns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
