As an Event Management Analyst you will be part of the technical support team for our business critical applications. With your knowledge of webhosting infrastructure and application performance you will help increase the stability, security, and performance of our applications. At the same time keeping negative customer impact to a minimum.

The Team
The Event Management team will be responsible for monitoring, alerting, and providing data regarding capacity to both the development and operations teams. We provide a critical service to ensure all critical systems maintain maximum up time.

      • Design, develop, implement and support the monitoring systems for Enterprise Infrastructure
      • Engage with platform and application ownership groups to determine appropriate monitoring
      • Assist in capacity planning for network and server infrastructure.
      • Provide day-to-day administration of tools and ensure the availability, performance, and security of the overall monitoring platform
      • Research new technologies and products related to end-to-end application and infrastructure monitoring for engineering new monitoring solutions
      • Work on all systems and/or projects within the organization responsible for providing Cyber Security Threat detection utilizing network and host based Computer Security tools, appliances and end point products
      • Perform packet analysis by identifying malformed packets and the payload of the packet
      • Integrate security products, including designs for all organizational networks
      • Maintain system baselines and configuration management items, including security event monitoring "policies" in a manner determined by the program management
      • Champion the support of business critical outages, clear the path to resolution, and lead the steps for prevention


      • Creative thinker who can investigate multiple paths in the hunt for root cause of an urgent issue
      • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with IT resources and business line
      • Ability to consume requirements and produce effective monitoring to meet said requirements
      • Windows Performance Monitor (Perfmon)
      • Application Performance Monitoring (Solarwinds, Grafana, Extrahop, etc)
      • Understanding of common network services (DNS, web, mail, FTP, etc.), network vulnerabilities, and network attack patterns
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
